A vintage flower brooch provided the inspiration for this suncatcher, “Fall Flower”. Strands of smoky glass and gray beads hang from an antique silver bowl. Rhodonite and crystals make it sparkle.
“Medusa” is a stylized jellyfish crafted from an openwork brass bowl. Wooden Indian beads give it silver and gold tones, glass beads & crystals make it sparkle and the bells make it sing.

Vintage silver plated goblet with whimsical green owls and other beads. Antique silver spoons, deconstructed, provide the lovely chiming sound.“Potion” is crafted with an antique sugar scuttle, green-toned glass & mother of pearl beads and crystals. Antique silver spoons, deconstructed and flattened provide a beautiful sound.
“Hathi” elephant themed suncatcher
A bejeweled elephant brooch hangs from an antique silver sugar bowl amidst sparkling glass beads and crystals.“Parliament of Purple” is an owl-themed windchime. Beaded strands of purple and clear glass hang from an antique silver vessel. Sweet purple owl beads form a parliament of owls. Five antique silver plated spoons have been flattened to give this chime its’ tinkling sound. Four of the spoons are of the pattern ‘Proposal’.
“Octopus’ Garden” is a funky metal basket suspended on strands of glass and mother of pearl beads. Eight tentacles of blue and pearl toned beads and shells extend to vintage silver serving pieces below, creating a delightful clamor.
“Entremet”, the layer cake windchime features an antique silver plated cake server with glass and mother of pearl shell beads. Deconstructed antique silver plated spoon handles make a quiet chiming sound. And there’s an antique cake fork to make it even yummier!
“Phant-ohm” is a vintage brass elephant trivet with glass, wood and metal beads. Gold toned deconstructed spoons and an antique Thai bell give this windchime its unique sound.
“Papillon” is a butterfly-shaped tea trivet with beads in vibrant shades of pink. Five flattened antique silver-plated spoons have been deconstructed to create the chimes clappers. I made this piece during the Paris Olympics so gave it a French name. Et voila!
