A bejeweled elephant brooch hangs from an antique silver sugar bowl amidst sparkling glass beads and crystals.“A Stitch In Time” has vintage wooden spools, metal bobbins and antique thimbles. This is a quiet piece with tiny bells in the thimbles. Wooden beads complement the wooden spools and the vintage knitting needle atop. One of the bobbins has the same aqua green thread the same colour as the beads and buttons!
This vintage silver-plated baby mug has an embossed duckling on it. Three vintage silver-plated baby spoons hang from glass and metal beads, including ducklings! The middle spoon is from Gerber’s, the baby food company, in the 1950’s. Makes a great baby or shower gift!
Verdigris lantern with abalone shells has a beach vibe.. Turquoise, bronze, opaque white and pearly toned beads complement the mother of pearl sheen of the abalone. Five antique silver plated spoons have been deconstructed and hammered into “clappers’ to make this lantern chime.

Vintage silver plated goblet with whimsical green owls and other beads. Antique silver spoons, deconstructed, provide the lovely chiming sound.An antique sugar bowl with a grape motif provides the base for “Creme de Menthe”. Opaque, clear and pearlized green beads give this piece its creamy look. Antique silver plated soup spoons have been deconstructed and flattened to give “Creme de Menthe” its dulcet tones. Another Paris Olympics inspired windchime!
“Entremet”, the layer cake windchime features an antique silver plated cake server with glass and mother of pearl shell beads. Deconstructed antique silver plated spoon handles make a quiet chiming sound. And there’s an antique cake fork to make it even yummier!
“Forget Me Not” is a whimsical windchime. I don’t know the origin of the metal flower but it is very lightweight so this piece moves a lot in the wind. I added contemporary blue and clear beads including tiny flowers reminiscent of forget-me-nots. Deconstructed antique silver spoon handles and bowls make this chime sing.
