These old wooden spoons were reimagined into fish with some grinding and woodburning.. Wood, coconut and mother of pearl beads in shades of blue and green give that ocean vibe. This piece was inspired by a swim at Montague Harbour, on Galiano Island, BC where the wood and shells were gathered. The top piece of wood floated past me and said “Bouillabaise”!
