This windchime is crafted from a vintage napkin holder, antique soup spoons and a funky mix of opaque, solid and clear beads in green grape tones. The metal elements have been deconstructed and the flattened spoon bowls give “Planet of the Grapes” and happy jingling sound.
Vintage ice cream scooper with beads in all the bubble gum flavours! Pink, purple and blue beads hold the five vintage silver plated spoons that make “Scoop” chime. One scoop even has sprinkles.
A deconstructed shell bracelet was the inspiration for “Seychelles”. Driftwood, glass beads and shells imbue this piece with peach and earthy tones. The handles of deconstructed vintage silver spoons give “Seychelles” a quieter, light tinkling sound.
“Tulipa” is a stained glass lantern upcycled into a windchime. The chimes are the handles of antique silver knives I deconstructed. Glass beads in pinks, green and black mirror the colours in the tulip.
“Wavy Gravy” is a repurposed antique silver plated gravy ladle with amber toned glass beads. Its’ melodious chime comes from five deconstructed silver plated vintage spoon bowls that I hammered flat.
“A Wrench In The Works” is a unique windchime fashioned from hardened steel wrenches and beads.
“Farfalla” (Butterfly) is a golden butterfly that shimmers with glass beads in pink and purple tones. Twelve deconstructed pieces of gold-toned cutlery make it chime.
“Potion” is crafted with an antique sugar scuttle, green-toned glass & mother of pearl beads and crystals. Antique silver spoons, deconstructed and flattened provide a beautiful sound.
