“A Stitch In Time” has vintage wooden spools, metal bobbins and antique thimbles. This is a quiet piece with tiny bells in the thimbles. Wooden beads complement the wooden spools and the vintage knitting needle atop. One of the bobbins has the same aqua green thread the same colour as the beads and buttons!
An antique silver plated fork with twisted tines is caught up in the “Algae” of green beads and shells. Flattened bowls fashioned from deconstructed vintage silver spoons create the chiming sound.
This vintage silver-plated baby mug has an embossed duckling on it. Three vintage silver-plated baby spoons hang from glass and metal beads, including ducklings! The middle spoon is from Gerber’s, the baby food company, in the 1950’s. Makes a great baby or shower gift!
